June 8, 2026 Update

Channel Points, Auto Spin, Entry Notes, and Overlay Controls

Added channel point redeem entries, auto spin timers, entry notes, claim message support, overlay controls, pause controls, and expanded chat customization.

This update adds several major streamer-requested features to StreamJuice Giveaways, with a big focus on Twitch integration, automation, overlay control, and better giveaway flexibility.

Channel Point Redeem Entries

  • Added support for Twitch Channel Point rewards that can automatically add entries to a giveaway.
  • Streamers can create channel point rewards from the dashboard.
  • Each redeem can add one or more entries.
  • Redeemed entries can either count toward the max join limit or act as bonus entries that do not count toward the max.
  • Channel point entries use their own customizable chat messages, separate from normal join messages.
  • Added channel point message support for successful entries, multiple entries, bonus entries, max reached, already won, and globally blocked users.

Auto Spin Timer

  • Added an Auto Spin Timer setting for giveaway lists.
  • Streamers can set a timer from 1 second up to 1 hour.
  • The timer can trigger a regular spin or an elimination spin.
  • The browser draws the countdown locally, so the server does not need to ping users every second.
  • Added a countdown ring around the wheel and raffle bowl on the dashboard.
  • Added an overlay countdown ring and timer label for OBS overlays.
  • After an auto spin runs, the giveaway becomes inactive so it does not repeatedly trigger without the streamer starting it again.

Entry Notes

  • Added optional Entry Notes for chat joins.
  • When enabled, viewers can add text after the join command.
  • Example: !join 007 GoldenEye
  • Streamers can choose whether the wheel displays the username with the note or only the note.
  • Example with username: viewername: 007 GoldenEye
  • Example note only: 007 GoldenEye
  • This is useful for game suggestions, dare ideas, challenge prompts, song requests, and other viewer-submitted text entries.
  • Entry notes now stay properly formatted when edited, refreshed, saved, displayed on the wheel, displayed in the overlay, or used with bonus entries.

Claim Message Support

  • Winners can now include a short message when claiming a prize.
  • Example: !claim my in-game username
  • Claim messages can be saved with the claim record.
  • This helps streamers collect information like usernames, prize choices, server names, or other short claim details.
  • Added the {claimMessage} placeholder for claim-related chat messages.
  • Added a setting to silence claim prompts for streamers who do not want claim messages posted automatically in chat.

New Overlay Controls

  • Added customizable chat commands to show or hide the overlay wheel.
  • Default commands are !showwheel and !hidewheel.
  • This gives streamers more control over when the wheel appears on stream.
  • The overlay can now be shown or hidden regardless of the attract=1 URL setting.
  • If the wheel is hidden and a spin starts, the overlay still appears for the spin and then returns to the correct hidden or visible state afterward.
  • Fixed overlay behavior so the wheel and background stay aligned while spinning, showing, hiding, and refreshing.

Pause Elimination Spin

  • Added a pause command for elimination mode.
  • The default command is !pausespin.
  • Streamers can also pause an elimination spin from the dashboard.
  • Pausing stops the current elimination spin and keeps the remaining entries on the wheel.
  • Added customizable messages for elimination pause requested, pause not running, and paused states.
  • Updated the overlay so elimination pause can instantly stop the animation and restore the remaining entries correctly.

Expanded Chat Message Placeholders

  • Added more placeholders so streamers can write clearer custom chat messages.
  • Winner messages now support placeholders like {winner}, {winnerUser}, {winnerName}, {winnerEntry}, {winnerPick}, and {winnerDisplay}.
  • Elimination messages now support placeholders like {eliminated}, {eliminatedEntry}, {eliminatedPick}, and {eliminatedDisplay}.
  • Claim messages now support {claimMessage}.
  • Channel point messages support placeholders like {name}, {rewardTitle}, {entriesAdded}, {joinCount}, {maxJoins}, {giveawayName}, and {giveawayKey}.

Analytics Improvements

  • Updated analytics so claim messages can be included with recorded giveaway wins.
  • This helps streamers review winner details after a giveaway is over.

Dashboard and FAQ Updates

  • Added dashboard controls for channel point redeems.
  • Added dashboard controls for entry notes.
  • Added dashboard controls for claim message behavior.
  • Added dashboard controls for auto spin timers.
  • Added customizable commands for pause spin, claim, show wheel, and hide wheel.
  • Updated the FAQ with new explanations, command examples, placeholder examples, and setup help for the new features.

This was a large feature update that makes StreamJuice Giveaways more flexible for interactive streams, community suggestions, channel point rewards, automated spins, and cleaner OBS overlay control.
